STUDENT TAKEOVER: Digital Fashion

Monday, September 27th 11.45am – 1.00pm
The Lab E20

Join us for a panel talk, followed by a Q&A, with digital fashion designers and innovative enterprises as they discuss the way we think about apparel – both as creators and as consumers.

Once situated on the fringe of the industry, digital fashion saw its moment in the events of 2020. The quick adoption of novel technologies became vital for brands who wished to maintain a close relationship with consumers in the age of social distancing. From Valentino and Marc Jacobs’ collaborations on Nintendo’s Animal Crossing to Balmain’s virtual showroom, it is inevitable that we ask – is digital fashion still a disruptor, or is it the fashion industry’s natural evolution?

Speakers include:
Daniella Loftus, Founder of This Outfit Does Not Exist
Nick Dehadray, Founder of Electro Atelier
Mouhannad Al-Sayegh, Founder of Flair
