Formed in April 2012, the London Legacy Development Corporation’s mission is to use the opportunity of the London 2012 Games and the creation of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to change the lives of people in east London and drive growth and investment in London and the UK, by developing an inspiring and innovative place where people want – and can afford – to live, work and visit.

London Legacy Development Corporation is a founding partner of Fashion District and has been a key supporter of The Mayor’s Good Work Standard since its launch. The standard sets a benchmark for best employment practices throughout various industries in London. They are a lead partner for the seminar on A Good Work Standard for Fashion, taking place during the Fashion District Festival, and will join the Mayor’s Office and The Trampery to champion it’s adoption in the fashion industry.
