Patch Party with The Reclaimery – MAKE

Sunday 8 June
Workshop 1: 12:20 – 14:00
/ Workshop 2: 14:20 – 16:00
Makers Space

Join The Reclaimery for a fun, imaginative session where children can create their own Patch Pals!

In this fun family-orientated session, children will design and make their own collage-style fabric patches using colourful scraps and hand-stitching techniques. They’ll be guided through the process of creating playful characters, animals, or symbols, each with its own story to tell. Once finished, their handmade patches can be sewn onto clothes to add a personal touch to their favourite outfits.

This session is a great way for young makers to learn new skills, get creative with textiles and explore upcycling in a hands-on way.

All materials will be provided and no sewing experience is needed.

The Reclaimery
The Reclaimery is a circular platform redefining fashion through education, craftsmanship, and community empowerment. With education at its core, it transfers circular knowledge and practical skills to individuals and communities — enabling them to redesign garments and transform textile waste into high-value pieces. Operating at the intersection of design, sustainability, and inclusion, The Reclaimery partners with brands, governments, and organisations to co-create circular programs, hands-on workshops and resource pathways that upskill local makers and artisans.
