What’s The Tea?

Friday 14 July
17:00 – 18:30
The Studio

Join Corinna Francavilla, the founder of independent brand NINA, for a fun, creative upcycling workshop!

In this unique workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to recreate one of NINA’s most popular tops using a preloved tea towel and repurposed cotton tapes. With a carefully curated selection of vintage materials provided, Corinna will expertly guide you through each step of the process, regardless of your sewing experience. This hands-on session offers a fun and accessible way to learn new skills, repurpose materials, and come away with a beautiful top that you’ve crafted yourself.

NINA
NINA is an independent small brand designed and crafted in East London by Corinna Francavilla. Her Italian roots heavily influence her designs; the fabrics and flavours of the alpine mountains are woven through each piece she creates. NINA specialises in upcycling tea towels and tablecloths into funky and colourful one-off garments.

Alterist

Alterist is an upcycle fashion marketplace with a mission to reduce textile waste. Curating a mix of high-quality upcycled fashion garments and accessories, each piece on Alterist is part of a limited edition collection made from pre-loved materials. Alterist unites a community of upcycled fashion brands, independent designers, artists and creatives, who are using creativity to drive change, transform fashion culture and make a positive impact on our planet.
