FASHION DISTRICT
SHOWCASE
2 JUNE 2026 8PM | AFTERPARTY 8.30PM
HOSTED BY SPITALFIELDS E1 IN PARTNERSHIP WITH SXSW LONDON.

On 2 June, we’re hosting a one-off Showcase in partnership with Spitalfields E1 and SXSW London.
Spotlighting six next-gen designers, the Showcase will move beyond the traditional catwalk to merge physical runway with digital innovation.
Next-gen Design
Creatively directed by award-winning stylist Kim Howells, the runway will feature a selection of carefully curated designers, each bringing a distinct perspective, accompanied by a DJ set from Mr Redley.
Kim Howells, Director of K.I.M. says:
“Fashion District creates such a unique and exciting opportunity to showcase designers fusing tech and sustainability at the iconic London Spitalfields. I’m honoured to be working with them again to creatively direct a live fashion show combined with an exciting forward thinking digital collaboration. This experience promises to be packed with ambitious, thought-provoking talent representing much of London now.”

Tech Innovation
Striking digital twins will be presented on the C-Screen, creating a runway experience where fashion extends beyond the physical, blurring the boundaries between light, motion and human form.
Alongside the showcase, attendees are invited to experience Digital Umbra, an exclusive collaboration between Fashion Innovation Agency and Jason Bruges Studio. Running from 1-3 June, the inhabitable media environment explores movement through spaces by capturing shadows to create a unique shared experience blending both the physical and virtual world.
Katy Arnander, Chief Programming Officer, SXSW London, says:
“SXSW London brings together audiences who are curious about where culture, creativity and technology are heading next, so partnering with Fashion District felt like a natural fit. We’re excited to invite delegates to experience this showcase in the unique and historic setting of Spitalfields Market.”
Sustainability
The event, supported by London College of Fashion: UAL, brings together designers, technologists, artists and entrepreneurs to explore how the industry can evolve in response to climate, cultural and technological change.
Helen Lax, Director of Fashion District, says:
“London is a global leader in nurturing new creative talent. This showcase is giving a platform for the next generation to be seen, heard and experienced. By bringing together emerging designers with cutting-edge digital innovation, we’re not just presenting fashion, we’re exploring what its future can look like.”
