A one-off Live Performance Showcase celebrating London’s exceptional fashion talent, set against the dynamic backdrop of the iconic Spitalfields Market.

The Fashion District Festival Live Performance Showcase will shine a spotlight on some of London’s most exciting emerging designers, elevating the traditional catwalk experience by seamlessly integrating dance, technology and music to create an unforgettable evening.

The showcase will present an electrifying performance by Alexander Whitley Dance Company, fusing fashion, choreography and cutting-edge technology. This distinctive collaboration will come to life through captivating dancers, both on stage and on screen, styled by award-winning fashion stylist, Kim Howells. The performance promises a truly immersive and innovative exploration of fashion in motion, pushing the boundaries of creative expression.

Alexander Whitley Dance Company
Alexander Whitley is an award-winning choreographer whose exploration of digital technology in performance has placed him at the forefront of innovation in contemporary dance. His multi-disciplinary practice, focusing on the use of motion-tracking and interactive technology, spans stage, installation, film, and immersive platforms.

Alexander has been affiliated with the UK’s most respected dance institutions including Sadler’s Wells, the Royal Ballet and Rambert, has created work for many of the UK’s leading companies, and is the founder of the Digital Body Festival.
