THE NEW NORM – Accelerating Regenerative Fashion by Spin Ventures – GROW

Thursday 5 June
10:30 – 19:00
The Studio

This exclusive one-day working session, co-hosted by The House of Circularity, from VC firm Spin Ventures, and Fashion District, is designed to mobilise capital, unlock industry adoption and scale venture-led innovation through commercial pilots across the fashion value chain. The summit brings together global leaders – brands, investors and venture founders – who are actively reshaping the value chain: from an extractive, inefficient, linear Fashion Industry, to a reimagined, data and tech enabled, regenerative more efficient one.

This is not another panel discussion — it is a high-impact, action-driven summit designed to initiate pilot projects that deliver tangible outcomes in regenerative design, closed-loop systems and best practice setting. The session aims to align the fashion industry with emerging regulatory frameworks while demonstrating that sustainability and financial performance can go hand in hand.

The Purpose: Drive Pilots. Nothing Less.

In our experience, change comes from pilots. Pilots allow innovators to scale their technologies, managers to mitigate the risk of innovation and investors to evaluate market traction. Hence we have decided to bring these 3 players together.

This summit is intentionally structured to activate partnerships, enabling ventures, corporates, and capital to co-design pathways that are scalable, investable, and aligned with regulatory momentum such as Double Materiality and Scope 4 frameworks.

We’ve curated the day to remove the barriers in a friendly, informal environment through high-energy, action-oriented sessions and working groups to foster conversation and actions under the Chatham House rules.

Agenda highlights

Keynote Introduction: Sustainability and Impact Strategist François Souchet is going to open the day with an inspiring overview on Decooupling, and the business opportunity of regenerative transformation to demonstrate that “less carbon = more profit.”

Downstream Innovation: Mary Fellowes, Founder of Greenwith Studios, is going to explore the economic and environmental impact of circular retail models to transform products into assets, through rental, return, repair, resale, and reverse logistics through the eyes of innovators in conversation with The Table Co Founder Carmel Rafaeli.

Midstream Innovation: Cradle to Cradle expert drafting DPP regulation with European parliament, Laurent Maeder is going to explore how technology and data – Traceability, Digital Product Passports – are revolutionising the relationship with the market and  on-demand manufacturing.

Upstream Innovation: Chelsea Franklin, Head of Advanced Concept Design at PANGAIA, is going to explore regenerative inputs, bio-based innovation, scalable material science and compare them with existing recycling and fiber to fiber commercial solutions to evaluate price, performance, impact and supply chain resiliency.

Working Groups: Everyone in the room is a participant. Mission aligned innovators, investors, and brand leaders will get together in output-oriented working groups.

Connectors in Residence: Onsite team to help identify pilot matches and funding interest.

Drinks Reception: Celebrate the partnerships sparked during the day.
