MAKE – Reture 4649.Rec Workshop

Sunday, September 26th 3.00-5.00pm
Maker’s Space

In association with RETURE, watch and learn how to upcycle your own preloved fashion through dye, embroidery and creative customisation with 4649.REC. The brand was founded during lockdown when designer Yumi painstakingly disassembled vintage family kimonos from Japan, creating something entirely now which also had links to her family’s past.

RETURE
A digital platform offering both a bespoke upcycling service, enabling clients to connect and collaborate with world-class designers to revive their preloved garments, and an online boutique where shoppers can buy upcycled fashion and accessories from cutting-edge, sustainably driven design talents.
